Kate Levant (born 1983) was born in Chicago and currently lives and works in Amsterdam. She has exhibited work in numerous solo shows at venues such as moniquemeloche gallery, Chicago; Zach Feuer Gallery, New York; 32 Edgewood Gallery, New Haven, CT; and Susanne Hilberry Gallery, Ferndale, MI. Levant was featured in the 2012 Whitney Biennial in New York. Her work has also been included in group exhibitions at the Harare International Festival of the Arts, Zimbabwe; Night Gallery, Los Angeles; Cleopatra’s, New York; St. Joost Akademie, the Netherlands; College for Creative Studies, Detroit; The Redemption Center, New York; LaMontagne Gallery, Boston; BC Project Room, New York, Anton Kern Gallery Annex, New York; and Frontroom Gallery, Cleveland. Levant is the recipient of the Susan H. Whedon Award at Yale University. Levant earned a BFA at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and an MFA at Yale University School of Art.
