Jeanne Dunning (born 1960) focuses on the human figure and body for formal issues as well as psychological content. The inter-media artist’s photographic, sculptural, and video work explores our relationship to our own physicality, looking at the strange and unfamiliar in the body, gender, and notions of normality.

She has held solo exhibitions at Feigen, Inc., Chicago; Feature, New York; Galerie Samia Saouma, Paris; Galerie Massimo deCarlo, Milan; Roy Boyd Gallery, Santa Monica; Galerie Esther Schipper, Cologne and numerous group exhibitions worldwide. Dunning earned a BA from Oberlin College, Ohio and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
