In his ongoing bodies of work, Gregory Green (born 1959) addresses the evolution of the relationship between violence and power, focusing on the tools and strategies used to gain political, social, or economic control. Recently, his examination has broadened to include the use of non-violent means of interrupting established systems of social order, most insidiously in the control of communication and information systems.

Green has held solo exhibitions at Randolph Street Gallery, Chicago; Dart Gallery, Chicago; Foster Gallery, University of Wisconsin; Dooley Le Cappellaine, New York; Kim Light Gallery, Los Angeles; Tom Cugliani Gallery, New York; Cabinet Gallery, London; and exhibited in numerous group shows internationally. He is currently represented by Feigen Gallery, Chicago. Green earned a BFA from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
