Taking inspiration from sources as diverse as antique Arabic miniatures and contemporary Asian construction, Eva Struble s (born 1981) monumental paintings draw from the traditions of landscape, architecture, and abstraction. Struble s motifs balance the odyssey of nature with the carefully ordered precision of design.
Struble has exhibited in Triumph of Painting #3, Saatchi Gallery, London; Three Positions, Lombard-Freid Projects, New York; and Superfund, Lombard-Freid Projects, New York. Struble earned a BA from Brown University, Providence, RI, and an MFA from Yale University, New Haven, CT.
