Dominic Molon served as the Pamela Alper Associate Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago. There, he curated and organized exhibitions such as Sympathy for the Devil: Art and Rock and Roll Since 1967 (2007); Wolfgang Tillmans (co-curated with Russell Ferguson, 2006); Trials and Terrors (2005); and Stalemate (2005). Molon has published essays on Douglas Gordon and Phillipe Parreno, Wolfgang Tillmans and Paul Pfeiffer, and has contributed to multiple surveys of contemporary art. He received a BA from University of Illinois at Chicago and an MA in Art History from State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Molon’s lecture is a meditation on the intersection of rock and roll and contemporary visual art.
