Architect and historian Beatriz Colomina is currently an assistant professor of architecture at Princeton University. She is the author of numerous articles and the author of Privacy and Publicity, Modern Architecture as Mass Media, a series of meditations which involve the disparity between Adolf Loos and Le Corbusier’s ideas about, among other things, the degree to which the act of framing makes and architectural interior subservient to the exterior and the relationships between architecture and the visual arts. Additionally, she is the editor of Sexuality and Space. Both publications were awarded the prestigious AIA International Architecture Book Award.
