In Fall 2006, UIC School of Art and Design Professor Tony Tasset and students in his graduate seminar class traveled to five western states to see major earthworks, including Robert Smithson’s Spiral Jetty and Michael Heizer’s Double Negative, and make their own work. Road Trip presents materials that the students created and collected on the trip. Included are photographs, sketchbooks, videos, drawings, and texts.
