Roemer van Toorn is an architectural theorist, critic, lecturer, and photographer. He has taught Architecture Theory at the Umeå University in Sweden since 2010. From 1993 to 2010, he was in charge of the History and Theory program at the Berlage Institute, where he was also head of publications.
