Climate Change share tales of an abundant landscape and the vitality of life that once was and still exists on the now altered terrain. Through both personal histories and deep research, artists in this exhibition explore the impact of the climate change crisis on our relationship to the land, and the internal emotional strain that is unearthed as we collectively consider our responsibility to steward the land to create a better future. Collectively, the artists in this show investigate the issue of climate change, create alternative ways of addressing the issue, and present a vision for a just world that honors the land and the life that is there. Visualizing several aspects of the crisis, Climate Change Exhibition is a realm of reflection as our world is tasked with understanding new dimensions of the meaning and impact of the climate change crisis.

Work driven by research and data collection are paired with works constructed by folktales and myths presenting a multifaceted view of the human relationship to land. New histories and futures emerge as artists explore both the reality of living within the climate change crisis and the emotions that surface as we grapple with the uncertainty of a once pure terrain. Through sculpture, installation, film, and painting, artists explore the emotional life that exists beyond the surface of the climate change crisis.
