Work by Ania Jaworska collected by SFMOMA, featured in KNIT! exhibition

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) recently collected a work by Clinical Assistant Professor Ania Jaworska. Unit 6 (Armchair), from the SET series, is a black lacquered-wood and fiberglass chair with removeable matte black padding.

Jaworska is also one of twenty-eight international designers included in KNIT!, an exhibition organized by the Danish textile producer Kvadrat Febrik. The exhibition asks designers to reinterpret the company’s knitted textiles, which can be shaped three-dimensionally. Jaworska contributed Seat Prop, a series of three pieces that blur the distinctions between chair and cushion. The exhibition is currently on view both in Copenhagen and online.
