"History Moves," a ‘museum on wheels’ developed by a multidisciplinary team that includes the School of Architecture’s Julie Flohr and Sharon Haar, as well as Jennifer Brier of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the project’s lead investigator, received a grant of nearly $40,000 from the UIC Chancellor's Discovery Fund. The project uses a traveling gallery to produce and present new versions of public history with the participation of community groups throughout Chicago. The initiative also received a $20,000 grant from the National Endowment of the Arts this past spring.
