Drawing the Logistical City: Image | Diagram | Model | Index
Space, Time and Procedure in Contemporary Urbanism
Drawing the Logistical City is a graphic study of the material flows in the built environment that reveals the invisible processes, the seemingly anonymous landscapes and the operational intelligence of contemporary regimes of flow. Focus is on the space and procedures of FedEx, the once US and now global shipping network that was founded by Fred Smith in 1971.
