Abigail Chang wins Chicago Architectural Club Emerging Visions Competition
Visiting Assistant Professor Abigail Chang is the winner of the eighth Emerging Visions Competition, an award sponsored by the Chicago Architectural Club in partnership with the Design Museum Chicago. The award highlights Chicago architecture community’s most promising emerging talent.
As part of the award, she is developing an exhibition for the Design Museum Chicago. The opening event and lecture will take place at 6pm on Tuesday, April 11.

Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the 2019 Lisbon Architecture Triennale, the 2021 Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism, and as a solo exhibition, Reflections of a Room, at Volume Gallery in 2022. Her research has been supported by the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts and UIC College of Architecture, Design and the Arts.
