Heidi Norton (born 1977) had her first solo museum exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, in 2012. She has also had solo shows at Johalla Projects, Chicago; Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago; Ebersmoore, Chicago; and HungryMan Gallery, San Francisco. Norton has been included in group exhibitions at venues such as the Contemporary Art Museum, Baltimore; Western Exhibitions, Chicago; NADA, Miami; Mark Wolfe Contemporary, San Francisco; NADA, Hudson, NY; NEXT Art Fair, Chicago; moniquemeloche gallery, Chicago; Andrew Rafacz Gallery, Chicago; and the Knitting Factory, New York. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Art Institute of Chicago; the Midwest Photography Project at the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago; and the Joyce Foundation. Norton is a professor of photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Northwestern University. She received a BFA from the University of Maryland and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
